Headteacher's Welcome
At Silverstone CE Primary, children feel happy, safe and excited to learn. Ofsted captured this perfectly in 2022 when pupils shared, “We are encouraged to go beyond our limits.”
We offer the best of both worlds: the opportunities of a larger school combined with the warmth and personal touch of a village community. Every child is known, valued and supported as an individual.
Our strong relationships with families are one of our greatest strengths. Staff, parents and the wider community work closely together, creating a nurturing environment where every child can flourish. There is a really strong sense of pride and belonging to our school community by all stakeholders
Pupil wellbeing sits at the heart of school life. We celebrate each child’s unique qualities and set high expectations for their academic, social and spiritual development. Children speak highly of their teachers, describing them as kind, supportive and encouraging. They live out our core values—hope, trust, love, respect, forgiveness, resilience, compassion and curiosity.
When children are asked to describe our school in one word the three most common responses are; 'Family', 'Inclusive' and 'Belonging'
As an academy within the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET), we benefit from strong collaboration with other local PDET schools, enriching our curriculum and strengthening our practice.
We would love to welcome you to Silverstone CE Primary. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit and experience our caring, vibrant school community for yourself.
Our parents know us best, and their views offer the clearest reflection of what life at Silverstone CE Primary is really like. These are some of the comments they shared in our annual survey.
