What is PE and Sport Premium?

The Primary PE and Sport Premium is used to improve the provision of physical education and school sport in primary schools. The documents on this page provide more details on how sports premium impacts on our provision across the school.

Sports Crew

We have a dedicated Year 6 Sports Crew who organise sporting activities for the younger children during lunchtimes and who are instrumental in our annual intra-school Sports events.

Play Leaders

We also have two members of staff who are Play Leaders at lunchtime. They organise a variety of games and activities to allow every child to participate and enjoy an ‘active lifestyle’.

Sports Premium and PE Lead

Our Sports Premium and PE lead monitors the provision of PE across the school and organises the schools participation in inter school events. In addition we have a dedicated sports coach currently delivering high quality PE to children in Year 5 and Year 6.
